In the U.S. alone, more than 3 million young dairy cows are slaughtered
each year when their milk production declines; they are processed into
supermarket ground beef and restaurant hamburger. Last week, more than
57,000 U.S. dairy cows were killed. The week before that, nearly 54,000.
Worldwide, the dairy industry is just as bloody as the meat industry.
It IS the meat industry.
